Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Colombo – Transfer to Negombo
•Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport, Colombo. •Meet and greet by your tour representative. •Transfer to Negombo for check-in at the hotel. •Leisure time to relax after your flight. •Evening walk along Negombo Beach and visit the Dutch Fort. •Overnight stay in Negombo.
Day 2: Negombo – Cultural Triangle (Sigiriya / Dambulla)
•Breakfast at the hotel. •Depart for Sigiriya (approximately 4 hours). •Visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site. •Climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress, the iconic rock citadel with frescoes and panoramic views. •Check-in at the hotel in Sigiriya. •Overnight stay in Sigiriya.
Day 3: Sigiriya – Polonnaruwa – Kandy
•Breakfast at the hotel. •Explore the ancient city of Polonnaruwa. •Optional: Safari in Minneriya National Park to see elephants. •Continue to Kandy (approximately 3 hours). •Check-in at the hotel in Kandy. •Attend the Cultural Dance Performance in the evening. •Overnight stay in Kandy.
Day 4: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya (via Tea Plantations)
•Breakfast at the hotel. •Visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic in Kandy. •Explore Kandy Lake and the local market. •Depart for Nuwara Eliya via scenic tea plantations and waterfalls. •Visit a tea factory to learn about tea production. •Check-in at the hotel in Nuwara Eliya. •Evening stroll around Gregory Lake. •Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 5: Nuwara Eliya – Ella – Transfer to Bentota / Galle
•Breakfast at the hotel. •Visit Nine Arch Bridge and optionally hike to Little Adam’s Peak in Ella. •Continue to Bentota or Galle (coastal area) for a relaxing evening. •Check-in at the hotel. •Enjoy beach leisure or sunset views. •Overnight stay in Bentota / Galle.
Day 6: Bentota / Galle – Colombo – Departure
•Breakfast at the hotel. •Leisure time for beach or city exploration. •Transfer to Colombo (1.5–2 hours) for airport drop-off. •Departure from Bandaranaike International Airport.
